Toshiba Seiya Classic Series 3.5kW Reverse Cycle Split System — Large Bedrooms and Small Living Areas

The 3.5kW Seiya bridges the gap between a bedroom unit and a living room unit. It’s the right choice for a large master suite, a lounge room that isn’t fully open-plan, a rumpus room or a converted garage of up to roughly 35 square metres.

Choosing correctly

Go up to 3.5kW rather than 2.5kW if the room exceeds 25m2, has a raked or high ceiling, faces west or north-west, has large glazed areas, or opens through a wide doorway into another space. Brisbane’s afternoon sun load is the factor most often underestimated — a west-facing living room needs meaningfully more capacity than the floor area alone suggests.

What you get

The same proven Seiya platform as the smaller models with more airflow and greater dehumidification capacity: inverter compressor for steady temperature, R32 refrigerant, self-cleaning coil function, quiet and sleep modes, and a washable anti-mould filter. Reverse cycle heating makes it a genuine year-round system — comfortably the cheapest way to heat a Brisbane living room on a cold July morning.
